FAQ
1. General Questions
What’s the difference between a logo and a full brand identity?
A logo is your visual signature, but a brand identity includes everything—typography, color palette, iconography and usage guidelines—so your brand always looks and feels cohesive.
How do I know VURV is the right fit?
You’ll feel confident if you:
- Scan my portfolio — does the style resonate?
- Read client stories — see outcomes you want?
- Trust your gut. Compatibility makes the process smoother.
We’re not local — can we still work together?
Absolutely. 99% of VURV clients are remote; our process is built for seamless digital collaboration.

4. Communication & Deliverables
How will we communicate?
- Zoom/Google Meet for kickoffs, reviews, and strategy
- Email for quick Q&A or file exchange
- Recorded video walkthroughs when you need deeper context
Do you provide editable source files?
Yes — you’ll get every native file (
.AI
, .PSD
, etc.) at no extra charge, so you can hand off updates or book me for a Design Day later.
Can you manage printing?
Absolutely. Whether you just need print-ready PDFs or a full end-to-end service (vendor recommendations, quotes, proofs), I’ve got you covered.
5. Fit & Compatibility
What if I already know exactly what I want?
If you’re looking to simply execute a predefined design, I’m not the perfect match — my strength is pairing strategy with creative. For straight-up “technique only,” you may want a production-focused designer.
What if I don’t love the first round?
Every package includes two rounds of revisions. Beyond that, edits can be added à la carte. You can pause or cancel anytime; you’ll only be billed for work completed beyond your deposit.
What if you haven’t worked in my industry before?
Design fundamentals translate across sectors. I start by researching your field’s conventions, then decide how much to fit in or stand out. Fresh perspective can be a powerful advantage.
6. Scope & Services
Do you build websites or write long-form copy?
- Websites: I craft style guides and mockups; for development, I work in Squarespace and will soon be offering Webflow platform services.
- Copywriting: I handle naming, taglines, mission statements and short brand stories as part of the messaging portion of the brand packages. Longer forms of copy can be added on at an additional cost.
We already have an identity — can you help with smaller projects?
If I designed your branding, book a Design Day for refreshers, social graphics or collateral. If it’s someone else’s brand work, I’ll match you with a trusted production partner.
