FAQ

VURV Creative FAQs
1. General Questions
What’s the difference between a logo and a full brand identity?
A logo is your visual signature. A brand identity is the system around it — typography, color, iconography/patterns, usage rules, file delivery, and guidance, so you look cohesive everywhere.
How do I know VURV is the right fit?
You’ll feel confident if you:
  • Want a strategy-first identity (not just a mark).
  • Like clean, bold, high-clarity design.
  • Are comfortable with an async, well-structured process.
If that’s you, we’re a match.
Do you work remotely?
Yes — almost all VURV projects are remote. We use a guided Google Form workbook, video walkthroughs, and clear milestones to keep everything smooth.
2. Packages & Pricing
What’s included in Brand Mini?
  • Discovery Intake Workbook (Google Form)
  • Primary Logo + Secondary/Alternate
  • Mini Color Palette (2 primaries + neutrals)

What’s included in Full Brand Identity?

Can I start with Brand Base and upgrade later?
Yes. We build to scale. You can add Messaging, Social, Launch, or upgrade to a full Brand System anytime without “starting over.”
3. Add-On Packages
What add-ons are available?
  • Messaging Kit
  • Social Media Kit
  • Launch Kit
  • Squarespace Website Kit
  • Strategy & Positioning
Do you offer websites?
Squarespace builds for the right projects (typically after identity). From $4,500–$8,500 depending on pages, content, and QA. Not advertised broadly; ask if you’re interested.
4. Process & Timeline
What does the process look like?
  1. Intake — Digital Brand Discovery Workbook (mini or full)
  2. Direction — we align on goals + constraints (async notes/video)
  3. Design — exploration → refinement → systemization
  4. Guidelines & Files — delivery + usage clarity
  5. Support — 30 days of post-launch QA (Full Brand Identity)
How long will it take?
Typical windows:
  • Brand Mini: ~2–3 weeks (client responsiveness matters)
  • Brand System: ~3–5 weeks depending on complexity
  • Add-ons: usually 1–2 weeks each
5. Scope, Revisions & Files
How many concepts and revisions are included?
  • Brand Mini: 1 concept, 1 refinement round
  • Full Brand Identity: 1 concept direction, 2 refinement rounds
Additional explorations or rounds can be added if needed (scoped as a change order).
What files do I receive?
Organized, production-ready exports: SVG, PNG, PDF (and favicon). Typefaces are specified with licensing guidance; font licenses are typically purchased by the client.
Do you offer support after delivery?
The Full Brand Identity package includes 30 days of email/QA support for small implementation questions. Ongoing retainers or a la carte help are available if you want continued creative direction.
6. Investment & Payment
How do payments work?
Standard structure: 50% deposit to book, 50% on delivery. For longer timelines we can split into three milestones (deposit / mid-point / files).
Do you discount?
Pricing reflects strategy, design, and delivery as intellectual property. If we adjust scope, we adjust price—but we don’t do discounts.

6. Scope & Services
Do you build websites or write long-form copy?
  • Websites: I craft style guides and mockups; for development, I work in Squarespace and will soon be offering Webflow platform services.
  • Copywriting: I handle naming, taglines, mission statements and short brand stories as part of the messaging portion of the brand packages. Longer forms of copy can be added on at an additional cost.
We already have an identity — can you help with smaller projects?
If I designed your branding, book a Design Day for refreshers, social graphics or collateral. If it’s someone else’s brand work, I’ll match you with a trusted production partner.
